MOSSVILLE YARD EXPANSION

Client: Ragnar Benson, LLC
Location: Westlake, Louisiana
Access Surveyors was awarded a contract by Ragnar Benson, LLC to assist with all project related surveying needs in Westlake, Louisiana. Our Survey Crews assisted with the construction efforts 5-6 days per week and continued until the completion of the project.

IOWA FERTILIZER COMPANY

Client: The Weitz Company
Location: Wever, Iowa
In June of 2014, Access Surveyors mobilized to the IFCo Project in Wever, Iowa. At the peak of construction in the estimated ±1.9 Billion dollar facility, Access Surveyors had 9 two-man survey crews, 2 Survey Managers, 1 Survey Technician and 1 Field Representative on-site. Our 2-man survey crews assisted in construction efforts 6-7 days per week on a regular basis.

Formula One Raceway

Client: Austin Bridge and Road
Location: Austin, Texas
Access Surveyors was hired by Austin Bridge and Road to perform 3-D paving operations, construction layout, utilities, control surveys and building structures for this mega raceway park. Access Surveyors was elected as the Lead Survey Team for the track layout, utilizing robotic machine control. With its winding ways, vertical curves, hair-pin turns and grade elevation changes of greater than 133 feet, COTA is a project that truly put our minds and wide array of skills to use. Listed below are quantities and work performed while on-site.

MOTIVA CRUDE EXPANSION

Client: Arceneaux & Gates Engineering
Location: Port Arthur, Texas
Access Surveyors was sub-contracted by Arceneaux & Gates Engineering and was awarded a 90 day contract for pre-construction horizontal and vertical control. The 51 Monument Control System would aid in the construction of an estimated $17 billion project, joint ventured by Bechtel and Jacobs Engineering. After the early works phase of the project, Access Surveyors was on-site with Seven (7) two-man survey crews and a Survey Management Team. The site had pre-determined to utilize its own surveyors for a brunt of the construction and soon brought on another Sixteen (16) two-man survey crews. Access Surveyors became the QA/QC and Managing Survey Team site-wide for a number of other sub-contracted surveyors from Austin Industrial, S&B Contractors and Turner Industries. Our team demobilized from the site in April of 2012, 6 Years later.

UNION PACIFIC BRAZOS HUMPYARD PROJECT

Client: Union Pacific
Location: Hearne, Texas
This is the largest Union Pacific project in the railroad's 155 year history.

PORT ARTHUR CRUDE TERMINAL

Client: Ragnar Benson
Location: Jefferson County
$130 million project was completed in the second quarter of 2021, bringing more than 1,200 direct and indirect construction jobs to Port Arthur and Jefferson County, as well as more than 40 full time jobs once operations commence at the facility. Access Surveyors, LLC served as “Lead Survey” for this project working directly under Ragnar Benson.
